LEVI GEARS UP FOR BIG WEEKEND

After nearly two weeks off due to Indiana Sprint Week, Levi will be back in action with the National Midgets this weekend. This Thursday night as apart of the “Kroger Speed Fest” at O’Reilly Raceway Park, Levi will be back in the pavement car for the first time since the last National race in Toledo, OH, where he posted a 7th quick qualifying effort and a solid 5th place finish in the feature. With Thursdays race just around the corner Levi commented,

“I look forward to jumping back in the pavement car after our run in Toledo. We are always fast at ORP so I’m hoping we can finally put together the solid run we need to win the deal.”

The last time USAC visited ORP for the famed “Night Before the 500” in May, Levi qualified 3rd and finished 7th in the nights feature.

After things wrap up Thursday night with the USAC guys, Levi is heading to Illinois for the remainder of the weekend to catch three nights on the dirt with POWRi.

“Even with the limited amount of time I have on dirt I feel really good about this weekend. I think I have learned a great deal in the past couple weeks, everyone has really been helping me out. It would be great to end the weekend with top ten finishes and hopefully a top five, that’s my goal for this week.” Commented Levi.

Levi’s last run at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, WI ended with an 11th place finish.

Friday nights race will be held at Jacksonville Speedway, Saturday at Macon Speedway, and finishing the weekend at Shepp’s Speedway Sunday night. This is the first time Levi will visit any of these tracks. Check back for updates or find Levi on Facebook at Levi Roberts Racing
